Tansy Rayner Roberts is a fantasy author, mum of two daughters and a doll merchant. She runs a small business from home, selling the Deepings Dolls in between her more important job as mother. Tansy's latest book Siren Beat/Roadkill, an urban fantasy novelette, is available from Twelfth Planet Press. Her new trilogy, The Creature Court, will begin publication from HarperCollins Voyager in 2010.

Tansy has a PhD in Classics, a slight fabric addiction and an unwavering allegiance to Premier League football and Arsenal. She reviews books for ASif and the best stories of the year over at Not If You Were The Last Short Story On Earth.
